Project Overview
Shanti Yoga Ashram is an organization who aims to preserve and transmit the knowledge from ancient teachings. The revamping of website project aims to transform the yoga ashram into a modern wellness retreat, aligning the traditional practices with contemporary wellness standards. This website seeks to offer an enhanced experience to visitors and residents, promoting holistic well-being through yoga, meditation, healthy living, and spiritual growth.

The Problem
The existing website was quite outdated and the organization wanted to have their website look more clean and user-centered, engaging user interface with clear message about them and their services and enhance the user experience with responsive design and align the website design with their brand identity.
The Objective
The goal is to attract and engage visitors more effectively with more premium look and feel, streamline navigation for easier content discovery with responsive design. Additionally, the revamped website should showcase about what hey are, what services they provide, provide valuable informative content, and encourage user interaction through clear calls-to-action.
Design Thinking Process
The process widely used for design thinking which is non-linear and helped me structure my solution in a creative way.
Initial Research
As part of initial research process, after I first navigated to their old website and had research about how the content can be managed. We had 2 to 3 meetings regarding what contents should be displayed for user-centric design and how the contents can be aligned. We figured out the most important pages that should be more focused. We aligned with a propsed pages and then a sitemap was created upon which the whole website would be build on.
Summary
As an conclusion of the research, I found out what the organization wants to make a new revamp website and then worked on page layouts and contents to be placed. On thorough research, a proposed pages were finalized where the contents needed to be placed and modified accordingly.
Wireframe
Lets do the rough!
Started with the wireframes. The wireframes were created with multiple variations for each page for sharing how the website should look and feel. Then final discussion was conducted once wireframes were finished and final design was picked based on their interest of choice.
Now lets define the final design’s visual aspects
I created moodboards, and defined the visual style which includes logo, color pallet, and typography that will be used in the design.
Mockup
After the finalized wireframe with alignment of the contents and proper style guide finalization then final outcome was high-fidelity design.

key takeaways and learnings
As this was a freelance work, I learned to deal with the client and gather their requirements and align them to the design which helped in iterative design process.
Reflecting their ashram vibe with the style guide and iconography to represent them and services they provide which had more research that directly and indirectly helped me to explore more on this field.
The project helped me a lot in developing my communication skills and present my ideas.
